Journeyman Job Description:

• Completion of the Apprentice Program is preferred

• Knowledge of the State and Local Codes

• Knowledge of General Construction Safety Requirements

• Valid Texas Journeyman License Required

• Skilled Service Plumber with at least 3-6 years Experience

Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings.

• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete plumbing projects.

• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to plan plumbing installations.

• Perform pipe threading, soldering, and brazing as needed.

• Conduct field service visits to troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues.

• Collaborate with construction teams to ensure plumbing systems meet building codes and regulations.

• Utilize mechanical knowledge to diagnose and repair plumbing problems efficiently.

• Perform heavy lifting and carpentry work as required for plumbing installations.

• Demonstrate basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.

• Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to all safety protocols.

• Utilize commercial driving skills to transport materials and equipment to job sites.

• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients regarding plumbing issues and solutions.

Salary: 

$25.00 - $38.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8-hour shift

• Overtime

Supplemental pay types: Bonus pay, Service Commission

Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred)

License/Certification: Driver's License (Preferred), Plumbing License (Required)
