Entry Level Plumbing Apprentice

We are seeking a plumbing apprentice/helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of hand/power tools and the ability to work as part of a team.

This is an entry level position with the opportunity to learn the plumbing trade while working in a full time role. The role involves assisting with installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings under the supervision of the Plumber.

Duties

• Assist with install, repair, and maintenance of plumbing fixtures, pipes, and systems.

• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely & effectively for various plumbing tasks.

• Manage heavy lifting of materials and equipment as required.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.

• Adhere to safety protocols while performing duties.

• Collaborate with team members on projects to ensure timely completion of plumbing projects, installations and repairs.

Requirements

• Mechanical knowledge is preferred.

• Familiarity with construction site environments is preferred.

• Experience with power tools/hand tools is a plus; willingness to learn is essential.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

• Familiarity with basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks.

• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards.

• Candidates should possess strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members.

• A current State of Ohio drivers license with a clean driving record.

• Highschool diploma or equivalent required.
