Apprentice Plumber

Patton Plumbing is looking to hire an apprentice must have construction experience, preferably a little Plumbing experience.

Apprentice plumber duties:

• Assist journeyman or master plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of water, drain, gas, and hydronic systems.

• Carry and stage tools, equipment, and materials at the job site.

• Measure, cut, and assemble piping (copper, PEX, PVC, cast iron) under supervision.

• Perform basic demolition, drilling, and preparation of work areas.

• Help set fixtures (toilets, sinks, tubs) and rough-in water and DWV piping.

• Assist with gas line work and pressure testing.

• Dig trenches, backfill, and prepare ground for underground plumbing.

• Maintain a clean, organized job site and company vehicle.

• Follow safety procedures, wear PPE, and comply with codes and company standards.

• Learn plumbing codes, materials, tools, and proper installation practices.

• Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
