Who we are

At Rhead Plumbing, we are a family-owned and operated plumbing company based in Wylie, Texas. Joe Rhead began his plumbing career in 1998, earned his Responsible Master Plumber license in September 2021, and opened Rhead Plumbing LLC in January 2022, while Jennifer Rhead came on full time in 2021 and now serves as our Chief Operating Officer. We are fully insured, and our work is backed by more than 25 years of hands-on experience, 1,250+ customers served, and Best of Wylie recognition from 2023 through 2026.

What we do

We provide residential and commercial plumbing services across Wylie and surrounding North Texas communities, including Allen, Murphy, Plano, Garland, Rockwall, Rowlett, Royse City, Sachse, and other nearby cities. Our work centers on service calls and small remodels, with services including general home plumbing inspections, leak detection and repairs, water heater service and replacement, gas line work, toilet and faucet replacement, drain cleaning, sewer line repair and replacement, sewer camera inspections, and sewer isolation testing. We also offer free estimates by phone or email, with an on-site service fee that is waived if you move forward with the work during the visit.

We launched the business in January 2022, added our first journeyman plumber in June 2025, and continue to grow while keeping our work focused on responsive service, upfront pricing, and finishing projects on time. For plumbers who are reliable and take pride in doing the job right, we offer a supportive small-team environment with no evenings or weekends and room to advance as we expand.
